Accelerating Industry Growth through Collaboration between IMM and ECMI ITE Asia

An agreement was signed between Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM) and ECMI ITE Asia Sdn Bhd, for Coat & Corrosion Asia 2016, with objective to develop the paint, coatings, and corrosion control industry in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

This collaboration combines the International Materials Technology Conference and Exhibition (IMTCE) and the Coat & Corrosion Asia (CCA) Exhibition, providing an extensive platform for the players from coating, painting, corrosion control and other supporting industries to exchange information and to source for new business networks. 

Coat & Corrosion Asia 2016 is a biennial exhibition that will be showcasing the latest coating and corrosion technologies for industrial needs, brought by exhibitors from various countries. The 3-day exhibition will gather buyers and sellers from the industry to network and to build business connections.

IMTCE is a signature events of IMM and there was a record of more than 400 participants for the past edition, where more than 50% of the participants came from around 40 countries. In the upcoming edition, the conference will focus on Design, Research and Inventions in relation to the performance of challenging materials, facilities & assets, trials & tribulations encountered, and research & inventions for the future.
